Maybe rotate through various words throughout the night, start with a whole list or just ban one word — like Halloween. I am good at every aspect of party planning except games. I hope it’s nice out so we can do our games outdoors. The children sit in a circle and the supervisor is one of the games of a child in a circle. The child reads the sentence and whispering to the person next to them, whispering, then the next person. This continues around the circle until it reaches the last person, then the group, which is the set, tells achieved.

Once everyone has had a turn to touch the items and make their guesses, open the box and show them what's inside. My kids love I-spy games and this one is perfect for a Halloween party. Grab some colorful tape and create a fun spider web for the kids. This activity uses balance, problem-solving, and imagination. Wrap store-brought bowling pins with toilet paper and add googly eyes to make marvelous mummies ready to be knocked over.
This would make a really good adult Halloween game as well. Decorating pumpkins is a crowd-pleaser among the top Halloween games. Fill orange balloons with candy, small toys, or other Halloween trinkets before blowing them up, then set them up on the lawn and get stomping. Pumpkin golfworks as an indoor or outdoor Halloween game. Adults can use a blade to cut holes into fake pumpkins, creating a spooktacular golf course for everyone to enjoy. This is just like regular charades, except you should theme your choices around Halloween.
Mystery Box
Rather than tossing real pumpkins, cover toilet paper rolls in orange felt for a much lighter (and cleaner!) prop. The first one to the finish line with no rips in the paper wins. To play, string powdered or chocolate donuts are spaced out on a long stick or a broom to keep the Halloween theme. Then, blindfold guests, tie their hands behind their backs, and have them race to see who finishes first. Use plastic eyeballs in lieu of ping pong balls in this festive beer pong game!
Think of the fun and squeals with these Halloween games for kids. Throwing a Halloween party for kids is one of my favorite types of kids’ parties. It is so easy to theme, find cute and creepy decorations for, the food is awesomely silly and then everyone dresses up.
DIY Mini Mummy Piñatas
Think along the lines of an Easter egg hunt and have little ones collect as many googly eyes hidden around the backyard as they can. Turn it into a timed relay and see who can snatch the most for even more fun. Give this classic fall activity a Halloween-worthy upgrade by swapping the glass bowls with life-size witch cauldrons. Fill up orange balloons with little trinkets and sprinkle them around. Your kids will love popping them to see what’s inside.
Pumpkin Bowling is a magical mixture of seasonal fun. This game isn’t exactly scary, but it’s easy to see why it’s the perfect Halloween game. In the second half of the nineteenth century, America was flooded with new immigrants. These new immigrants, especially the millions of Irish fleeing Ireland’s potato famine of 1846, helped to popularize the celebration of Halloween nationally. Perfect for pre-schoolers, these sensory bags can be filled with Halloween-themed materials, like ghostly, ghastly shaving cream with googly eyes. Just make sure you glue the bags closed before letting the games begin.
Players will then bowl with a small pumpkin and get a treat from inside of whichever pin they knock over. This has such a simple set-up, and your kids will love crafting their own little green monsters. Just like piñatas, these adorable balloons are filled with treats and ready to burst open. Youngsters can take turns popping the pumpkins, or they can take them home as party favors. Stock up on spooky Halloween cups at your local convenience store, then scatter them on a poster board for kids to take aim—with zombie eyeballs, of course.

A ball of yarn is thrown across to another child. The child holds on to a piece of the yarn and then throws the ball across to another child. You can never have too many Halloween word games! Add this printable word scramble to your list of Halloween activities to take part in this year. The kiddos will have a bone-rattling good time with this game!
Divide your party into smaller groups and set your guests off to find all the pieces of their skeleton. Put all of the paper pieces into a hat or a pillowcase and hide some sweets and candies around the room. At the party ask each child to draw a piece of paper from the hat.
